“A Night on the Town” W.G. Tomko’s 10th Annual Fundraiser
This year marks the 10th year of the W.G. Tomko’s annual fundraiser that benefits Surgicorps International and Pennsylvania Batten Disease Support.
Surgicorps International has performed more than 4,000 life-changing surgeries in 18 countries including Bhutan, Brazil, Ethiopia, India, Kenya, Nigeria, Peru, Vietnam, Zambia and many more. With the support of volunteers and donors, Surgicorps Intl. is able to provide free medical and surgical care to those in need developing countries. www.suricorps.org
Pennsylvania Batten Disease (PABDS) is a nonprofit group organized to promote awareness of Batten Disease and provide support for the families dealing with it daily. The mission of PABDS is to provide funding for medical equipment, living expenses, and research projects to aid Pennsylvania families living with the challenge of Batten Disease.
When generous people come together, amazing things happen. We have been doing our best to support these amazing causes. For the entire month of September, if you’ve noticed you stylist wearing jeans, they too have been contributing to Surgicorps and PABDS. Your support to our annual fundraiser can help children of developing countries and children right here in Pennsylvania. This year’s fundraiser will be held at the Sheraton Station Square on Friday, October 10th at 6:00 pm. The evening includes cocktails, dinner and dancing with live entertainment provided by Gary Racan & Studio E. There will also be a Chinese auction and Silent Auction.
